TENTH WAMZ TRADE MINISTERS’ FORUM Ministry of Commerce Conakry, Guinea December 10-13, 2019

The Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Guinea in collaboration with the West African Monetary Institute, will host the Tenth Edition of the West African Monetary Zone Trade Ministers’ Forum.
The theme for the Forum is “African Continental Free Trade Area: Opportunities and Challenges for the Member States of the West African Monetary Zone.”
The Tenth WAMZ Trade Ministers Forum will be held at the Primus Kaloum Hotel, Conakry, Guinea, during December 10-13, 2019.
The objective of the Forum is to advocate good trade governance, promote trade facilitation for improved intra-WAMZ and regional trade, and to strengthen cooperation and networking among the stakeholders for deeper trade integration.
The Forum will provide opportunity to share country experiences on cross-border trade issues and review intra-WAMZ trade performance. The Forum will also offer a high-level platform for peer review of Member States’ status of implementation of ECOWAS trade integration commitments, with a view to achieving WAMZ trade integration goals.
